Ambiance was very nice...simple, elegant, modern, open but still intimate.
Service was outstanding...unobtrusive but constant. Friendly, professional and menu was well-versed. We enjoyed our evening with you, Monsieur Gilead!
The food...well, it was like a little bit of Heaven on Earth. The Parmesan soup was creamy, cheesy with a nice textural and tasty crunch of bacon. The salmon was perfectly medium rate with a crispy skin and exploded with flavor with the buttery spinach puff pastry. The duck was divine! Tender and mild, not gamey. I never wanted that course to end! The cheese plates provided a number of hard and soft cheeses that danced deliciously with the apricot jam and the light sweet, local honeycomb (which I wanted to lick off the plate). Dessert was a tart and tangy lemon meringue...light, airy and elegantly presented...along with a deliciously-crafted chocolate crème brûlée with Chantilly cream and fresh berries. All and all, a fabulous French meal rivaling any of the many Parisian eateries we've visited. Thank you for the amazing culinary experience, Chef Sandra!
