Checked out Euros Gyros a couple times this week! Pleasantly surprised with the complimentary hummus and pita bread. The Beef Kabob lunch was served with rice and a wonderful Greek salad...the flavors were spot on! The Chicken Gyro was served with fries...meat was juicy and well-seasoned...fries were hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like we love them! We paired a California Grenache since its BYOB (yippee!)...very light-bodied, fruit forward and jammy, resembling a Beajoulais , not one of our personal favorites, but for those who enjoy California Pinot's, it's a good daily drinker. On our second visit, we tried the Patty Melt...not what you'd expect at a Mediterranean restaurant, but it was DELICIOUS! The beef patties were seasoned to perfection and cooked medium rare, by our request. We brought a new wine to try, Tuli, a Pinot Noir recommended for its full body. However, it tasted more like a fruity jammy California Cabernet Sauvignon and not like a traditional Pinot Noir. Overall, Euros Gyros is a GREAT value and we'll definitely be back (lots)!
