We beat the traffic in time for some craft cocktails before dinner and Jared, at the Ft. Worth Cork & Pig, did not disappoint. "THE BUZZ" is a refreshing blend of Uncle Val’s Botanical Gin, Lemon Juice, Martine Honeysuckle Liqueur, Lavender Bitters...very well-balanced with herbal notes...not too tart with a whisper of sweetness. The "SO. 7TH" is a well-executed craft margarita with Cucumber & Jalapeño Tequila, Paula’s Texas Orange, Agave Syrup, served in a house-blend 9-spice salted glass. The cucumber cooled the heat of the jalapeño and the orange gave a nice tang. We couldn't leave without a lil snack...we chose the Deviled Eggs w/ Pancetta...creamy and heavy on the mustard (in a good way!)
