We’ve dubbed Old Smokehouse the “Feel Good” place! After following our noses to the origin of the intoxicating BBQ smoke, we walked into a friendly environment with a genuinely warm greeting….so we couldn’t help but “feel good” right off the bat! Our experience got even better as we started sampling the melt-in-your-mouth sliced pork shoulder, the tender and juicy beef brisket, the plump and meaty pork ribs and the fall-off-the-bone lamb ribs…yes, LAMB RIBS. Just when we thought we couldn’t be any more impressed, it was suggested we try the beef rib…more like T-REX RIB! This thing was no less than 16 inches long, 6 inches wide and 3 inches thick! The quality of all the meats we tasted was superb and this could be described no less than a literal “Prime Rib”. Now for the sauce….OHMYGOSH, the SAUCE…no words. Seriously, this is just something you must taste for yourself. Sweet, yet savory…a harmony of flavors that play deliciously together. The hospitality offered by Alex put a huge smile on our faces and Chef Kevin obviously knows his stuff! No wonder Old Smokehouse has been in the same location for over 35 years!
