One of the great things about my job is that I get to visit friends and family while "at work". My cousin and his fiancee, Gerald and Gabriela, live in Sao Paulo, Brazil and I had the opportunity to visit with them on my last trip. During my layover, they treated me to D.O.M. where I experienced the Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing. I say "experience" because I didn't merely just eat, drink and converse, but instead, I was totally immersed in a culinary journey while reminiscing about old times with Gerald and fostering a newfound friendship with Gabriela. .
